Pittsburgh Boyce Park Trail Run with New NB MT101 Shoes

Since I've changed my running form earlier this year with focus more on landing mid-foot strike and not heal strike I wanted to take it to the next level and start wearing minimalist shoes.  I've been following Tony Krupicka and he's played a big part in the design of the MT series as well as the new minimus series coming out laster early spring in 2011.

At first my calves were a bit tight, but after a couple of weeks adjusting I feel these are the perfect shoes for me.  This week I'm in Pittsburgh and have the opportunity to hit the local trails to give them a try.  Lucky me it's been raining and snowing, so the ground has become very muddy.  I think the best feature so far have been the weight of the shoes (just 7.8 oz) and noticed a huge difference in when running in the water that it doesn't soak up the water compared to my last pair of Nike's.
